Ambulatory, Hands-Off Transportation
Road Runner provides ambulatory, hands-off transportation. Riders must be able to enter and exit the vehicle without assistance from the driver. For insurance reasons, our drivers cannot physically assist or lift riders or enter a passenger’s residence.
If assistance is needed, please arrange for someone to help at either end of the trip. Walkers, canes, and other mobility aids are welcome when they can be safely accommodated in the vehicle.
Wait & Return Transportation
When transportation includes a return trip, it is a core value at Road Runner to remain on-site and wait for our rider. Wait time is charged as part of that service.
We believe that if we commit to your return transportation, we should be there when you’re ready to go. If we’re asked to leave and take other rides while you’re at your appointment, we can no longer guarantee when—or if—we’ll be available for your return.
Leaving a rider without guaranteed return transportation simply isn’t how we operate.
